Modular Robotics, a spinoff from Carnegie Mellon University, makes systems for building robots out of many small robots, including Cubelets robot blocks used by children to learn about STEM, design and complexity. Founders Eric Schweikardt and Mark D Gross have led the company since 2008. It is headquartered in Boulder, Colorado, and its robot line also includes the GoPiGo Raspberry Pi robot.
