Remote control: In mBlock's Live mode a Mac or PC runs Python 3 with Makeblock's `cyberpi` library and drives the robot in real time over USB (Bluetooth or Wi-Fi as options). Programs can also be uploaded as MicroPython to run on the robot alone.

Overview

The mBot2 (sold earlier as mBot Neo) replaces the original mBot's 8-bit board with the ESP32-based CyberPi, which adds a color screen, microphone, motion sensors, Wi-Fi and encoder motors. It suits classrooms and learners who want to go from blocks to real Python on the same robot. Built-in charging, a 5-hour battery and Makeblock's AI and IoT lessons set it apart from simpler starter cars. It costs about twice as much as the classic mBot, and vision needs the separate AI Camera.
