Overview
The Scuba V3 is Aiper's first pool robot that steers by camera, using AI vision and a dToF depth sensor to spot debris, map the pool and plan routes instead of driving a fixed pattern. It launched at CES in January 2026 and shipped in late February, with street prices falling below $900 by May. Reviewers found AI Patrol mode genuinely quicker at picking up visible debris and liked its light 8.2 kg body. The V3 Ultra adds a second camera and surface skimming. It sits between the budget Scuba S series and the X1 Pro Max, and is often bundled with the EcoSurfer S2 skimmer.
