Overview

A screen-free coding robot for young children. Kids lay out arrow cards, press the matching buttons on a remote programmer, and Botley drives the sequence, up to 150 steps with loops. It also detects obstacles, lights its eyes in the dark and has 16 built-in modes and hidden tricks. It suits ages 5 to about 8 as a first step before app coding on robots like Dash or mBot. It cannot be programmed from a tablet or computer, so it is outgrown once a child is ready for blocks.
