Remote control: Code runs on the robot's Raspberry Pi. SSH in from a Mac or PC, stop the stock Doly service, then run Python or C++ programs that use the Doly SDK for motors, arms, camera, eyes and sensors.

Overview

Doly follows the Vector and Cozmo formula of treads and big animated eyes, but is built on a standard Raspberry Pi CM4 with open CAD files, schematics and an official Python/C++ SDK. Like Vector it wanders the desk, avoids edges and drives home to charge, and it adds two small servo arms. Everything runs locally with no subscription. The catch is that there is no built-in ChatGPT-style chat yet, so conversation beyond its own on-device voice features means writing code.

The most hackable Vector-style desk robot on sale, best for owners who want to program it.
