Overview

The 2S is HOBOT's long-running square window robot and the first of its models with dual ultrasonic spray, which mists water ahead of the pad as it moves. It appeared around 2021 (unconfirmed) and is still sold new through HOBOT's US store, alongside the older 298. Reviews found it effective on well-kept, smooth glass but slower than cleaning by hand and unsuited to windy conditions or pitted glass. It is corded with a 4.5 m safety rope and no battery station. The S7 Pro replaces its single pad with twin reciprocating mops.
