Remote control: The arm plugs into a Linux laptop over USB, and the Interbotix Python API on top of ROS 2 commands joints or end-effector poses.

Overview

The smallest arm in Trossen's Interbotix X-series, a 4-DOF Dynamixel arm with no wrist rotation, sold as an entry point for teaching kinematics and ROS. It shares the software stack of the larger WidowX 250 and ViperX 300, so code moves between them. Trossen has since discontinued it, but leftover and used units still turn up.
