Overview
A palm-sized meerkat from the team behind Sharp's RoBoHoN phone robot, aimed mainly at women in their 20s and 30s as a talking pocket friend. It chats, remembers past conversations, writes a diary from its own point of view, looks at things through a camera in its mouth, syncs with Google Calendar, and two units near each other can chat between themselves. Like the original Vector, its voice features depend on a cloud service, so a monthly plan is required and it cannot drive around. It is only sold in Japan and Taiwan and speaks Japanese (English unconfirmed).
A charming conversation pet for Japanese speakers, but the required subscription and lack of movement make it more chatbot than robot.
