Overview
The Max 705 was the top of iRobot's 2025 lineup and the first Roomba with a roller mop, which reviewers called the best mopping iRobot had shipped so far. The Combo pairs it with an AutoWash dock that washes and heat-dries the roller, while the Max 705 Vac is a vacuum-only version with dual rubber brushes. Both have LiDAR plus camera-based obstacle avoidance and gained Matter support by firmware, so they work with Apple Home and Home Assistant. In 2026 iRobot moved on to the Roomba Max 715/775, and the 705 is now out of stock at iRobot but widely discounted at Amazon, Best Buy, Target and Walmart while stock lasts.
