Weeks+Shipping: ~1–2 wks (est.). Ships from Yahboom in Shenzhen, China. Yahboom's shipping policy says orders are usually processed within 24 hours and shipped the next business day, most arrive within 6 working days after dispatch, and orders over $499 ship free by DHL, UPS or FedEx. Import duties and taxes are paid by the buyer. No Amazon US listing for the plain A1 was confirmed (search showed only an A1 bundle with a robotic arm). Yahboom ↗
Remote control: ROS 2 Humble runs on the robot's board (in Docker on the Pi 5 and Jetson Nano, native on RDK X5 and Orin). A laptop connects over SSH, VNC or ROS 2 networking, and a mapping and navigation phone app is available.

Overview

Yahboom's 2025 Ackermann rover, aimed at students who want car-like steering for path planning and autonomous-driving lessons. Only the Superior and Ultimate kits have the Nuwa-HP60C depth camera, and that camera drops the pan-tilt mount of the Standard kit. The course is broad, covering SLAM, Nav2, RTAB-Map, YOLOv11 and LLM-driven navigation, though some YOLO and driving chapters target Orin or RDK X5 boards. Ackermann steering cannot turn in place, which makes tight indoor following harder than on the mecanum ROSMASTER M1. Speed is not published.

Built-in autonomyNavigates · Goes to places on its own, such as mapped rooms, waypoints or its charging dock
LLM supportOfficial LLM tools · Yahboom's A1 course has text and voice LLM chapters built on Dify and OpenRouter, where a decision model plans and an execution model calls robot functions such as SLAM navigation, visual following, line patrol and depth-camera distance questions. Offline models (Llama 3.2, Qwen3, DeepSeek-R1 and others) are also covered. Yahboom tutorials ↗
