Overview
The AI Ultra is Shark's long-running vacuum-only lidar robot with a bagless self-empty base, and Vacuum Wars describes it as the model that replaced the older Shark Matrix in the lineup. It maps the home, cleans room by room, and can run a Matrix Clean grid with extra passes and boosted suction. There is no mop and no camera obstacle recognition, so cords and socks still need picking up first. The AV2511AE arrived in 2022 (unconfirmed) and is still sold by Shark and major retailers, usually far below its list price. The Matrix Plus adds a vibrating mop to the same basic design.
