Overview

Hayward's AquaVac family spans the cheap cordless 250Li for above-ground pools up to the corded AquaVac 6 Series (600 and 650), launched around 2020. The 6 Series is known for its SpinTech filterless design, where 18 hydrocyclones spin debris into a canister so there is no filter to clog, and the 650 adds Wi-Fi app control and remote steering. Reviewed.com found the 650 effective on curved walls but noted a short power cord and an unreliable auto-return. Unlike most newer robots in this list, the main AquaVac models are corded, so only the entry 250Li runs on battery.
