Overview
RONi is LG's 2026 flagship robot vacuum and mop, built around a docking station that can disappear into the kick space under a kitchen sink, a design that won a CES 2026 Innovation Award. It is the first robot to use 100 °C steam both in the robot (to soften dried spills it spots with its camera) and in the dock (to sanitize the mop pads), according to LG. Navigation combines lidar, a 3D laser sensor and an RGB camera, and LG notes the camera is hidden behind the station door when docked. It went on sale in South Korea on 2026-07-02 and has not been announced for other markets.
