Overview
The Freo X family is Narwal's mid-range lidar line without cameras. The X Ultra (CES 2024) took an unusual approach, compressing dust into a disposable bag inside the robot so the mop-washing dock needs no vacuum unit, while the cheaper X Plus (2024) is a basic vibrating-pad robot with a charging dock. The X10 Pro (2025, unconfirmed) is the current model, with a conventional self-emptying, mop-washing dock and edge-extending mops for about $400. Only the X10 Pro works with the community local Home Assistant integration. The X10 Pro is sold new by Narwal, while the X Ultra and X Plus are winding down. Narwal's camera-equipped models are the Freo Z range.
