Overview
The Saros Z70 is the first mass-market robot vacuum with a built-in robotic arm. During a first pass it marks small items it can grip, then the OmniGrip arm folds out of the top to move them aside or drop them in a set spot, and the robot circles back to clean underneath. The arm only handles light objects (under 300 g) from a short list of recognised types, and using it shortens how much floor a charge covers. Underneath the arm it is a slim 79.8 mm Saros-class mop-and-vacuum robot with a full washing dock, related to the Saros 10R. It launched at a very high $2,599 list price but now sells for under $1,000.
