Overview

A compact, truck-portable autonomous survey boat launched at Ocean Business 2019 and aimed at shallow harbours, rivers and coastal structures. It combines multibeam bathymetry, side-scan sonar and lidar on one hull so it can map above and below the waterline in a single pass, and two people can launch it. SeaRobotics' smaller-sensor HYCAT covers water-quality and ADCP work, and its larger SR-Endurance boats can carry the M1.8 as a secondary vehicle.
