Overview
The 2021 launch that made a stairs-capable robot dog a consumer product at $2,700. It spread widely in labs, schools and even military evaluations (US Marines tested one carrying a rocket launcher). In 2025 researchers disclosed a remote-access tunnel vulnerability (CVE-2025-2894) that Unitree said was fixed. Superseded by Go2 in 2023. Used units are common.
