Boston Dynamics develops and deploys highly mobile robots for automation in industrial plants, construction sites, distribution centers and warehouses. It was started when Marc Raibert spun off from the MIT Leg Lab, joined soon after by Robert Playter. Its robots include the quadruped Spot, the case-handling robot Stretch and the humanoid Atlas.
