Overview

A quadruped billed as India's first, built by Addverb Technologies, a Noida warehouse-automation company backed by Reliance Industries. It is aimed at autonomous security patrols and remote inspection in oil and gas fields, refineries and warehouses. Two versions are offered. The Trakr 5 carries 5 kg and the heavier-duty Trakr 20 carries 20 kg. The Trakr 20 appears to be the Trakr 2.0 shown in February 2025 (unconfirmed). The page lists 18 kg with the battery for both, which may be a copy error for the Trakr 20. It walks at 1.5 m/s for about 1.5 hours, runs reinforcement-learned gaits, and offers optional IP67 sealing, self-charging and add-ons such as thermal imaging, an arm and an explosion-proof housing. Addverb's own page contradicts itself on step height. Its text says the Trakr 5 climbs steps up to 170 mm, while its spec table gives a 120 mm maximum step and a 150 mm climb-drop height.

It weighs about half as much as Spot (32 kg) at a similar walking speed, with an i7 computer and an optional Jetson Orin. The estimated $45,000–60,000 is below Spot's quoted price, but Trakr has no public SDK or simulation model and far less field history. It suits Indian industrial, security and defence buyers who want a locally made and supported patrol robot. Indian Army trials were reported at Aero India 2025 through partner DGPL (unconfirmed).
