Overview
The Scout RX3 is Miele's only robot vacuum, a low 8.5 cm vacuum-only robot that navigates with a pair of front cameras instead of lidar. The Home Vision versions add an encrypted live HD video feed from the front camera to the phone and a longer-running battery. It is covered by Miele's official 3rd Party API, so it can be started, paused, stopped and switched between programs from code, but the API control is basic and there is no self-emptying dock, mopping or AI object recognition. Miele's US store now marks every RX3 variant as permanently out of stock, while Amazon US still sells the base model, and EU availability could not be checked (unconfirmed).
