Overview
A rideable four-legged off-road vehicle, shown as a concept for 2050 at Expo 2025 in Osaka. A 150cc hydrogen engine, fed from a canister at the rear, generates electricity for drive units in each of the four legs. The rear legs swing separately from the front ones to absorb shocks while walking and running. Rubber hooves split left and right grip grass, rocks and rubble. The rider steers by shifting body weight, sensed through the steps and handlebars, and the stirrups adjust to fit. At night it projects markers onto the ground to show the path. Kawasaki's 2025 video of it in motion was computer-generated. In December 2025 Kawasaki set up a SAFE ADVENTURE business development team and moved the plan up by decades. It targets a riding simulator in 2027, rides for visitors at Expo 2030 in Riyadh, and consumer sales in 2035.
