Overview
A 20 cm humanoid that is also a working mobile phone, with a small screen on its back, voice conversation, photos from a camera in its forehead, and walking and dancing on 13 servos. It was co-developed by Sharp and robot designer Tomotaka Takahashi, and second-generation models dropped the original's built-in projector. The cheaper Lite version sits and gestures but cannot walk. It is sold only in Japan, speaks Japanese, and needs a monthly service plan for most features.
A charming, polished pocket robot, but a poor fit for buyers outside Japan because of language, the subscription and Japan-only sales.
