Overview

A ROS 2 hexapod with a 6-DOF arm on its back, sold alongside the armless JetHexa2027 and the smaller SpiderPi. Lidar SLAM and Nav2 handle mapping and route planning, and the arm uses the depth camera and inverse kinematics to find, grab and carry objects, which the large model lessons tie together into voice-commanded fetch tasks. Every kit includes the arm and a wireless gamepad, and the kits differ in camera and voice hardware. The Starter kit has only a monocular camera, so the 3D grasping and RTAB-Map lessons need the Standard kit or above. Hiwonder rates the battery at about an hour, and there is no charging dock.

Prices from Hiwonder's store and the Amazon listing in October 2026. Kit contents are read from Hiwonder's packing-list photos, which show the same robot body in every kit. Hiwonder's spec table lists the lidar without saying which kits include it (unconfirmed for the Starter kit). Amazon only lists the Advanced kit. Hiwonder ROSpider ↗ · Amazon ↗
