Overview
Memo is a two-armed home robot on a wheeled base from Sunday, a California startup founded by Tony Zhao (ALOHA) and Cheng Chi (Diffusion Policy). It targets busy households with chores such as clearing tables, loading and running the dishwasher, folding laundry and pulling espresso shots. A soft silicone shell, swappable color-ways and cloth hats give it a friendly look. Since it stands on a wheeled base, it stays upright when the power is cut, which Sunday calls passive stability.
Memo learns from people wearing Sunday's Skill Capture Glove, which matches the shape and sensors of Memo's hand. Thousands of these gloves record chores in contributors' homes, so training needs no robot teleoperation data and none from owners' homes. The ACT-2 preview from July 2026 reports 99.1% success at folding laundry in homes it had not seen. Memo is not for sale yet. A free, invite-only Founding Family beta starts in late 2026 with numbered units, and Sunday expects to ship at scale in 2027–2028.
