Overview
AmazingHand is an open-source, fully 3D-printed four-finger hand that Pollen Robotics, part of Hugging Face, released in July 2025. It costs under €200 in parts and its wrist interface fits the Orbita wrist of the Reachy 2 humanoid. The repo also holds a community mount for the SO-101 arm. The design simplifies the ILDA hand research project, and Seeed Studio and WowRobo sell kits. The code is Apache-2.0 and the mechanical design is CC BY 4.0.
Each finger is a parallel mechanism, where two motors share the load. Two Feetech SCS0009 micro servos turn together to bend the finger and in opposite directions to swing it sideways. A linkage couples the two phalanges, and all eight motors sit inside the palm. Rigid printed bones sit under soft TPU shells, and the thumb can oppose only the index finger. Pollen says the hand has not yet been tested on long or demanding grasping tasks. An Enhanced branch swaps in stronger, backdrivable Feetech STS3032 servos, which can be pushed back by hand without damage, at a higher parts cost.

Price and shipping
The official parts list sums to €128 (~$140), and Pollen says the hand costs under €200 in parts. Seeed Studio sells a left or right kit for $99 ($97 each for 10+), in stock from its China warehouse. It ships unassembled with 8 SCS0009 servos, a XIAO-compatible servo driver board, a 12 V 3 A adapter, black ABS structural parts, linkages, screws and a screwdriver. WowRobo sells a PLA kit for $99 unassembled or $139 assembled, and a soft-rubber-finger version for $139 unassembled or $179 assembled. Whether WowRobo kits include the servos is not stated in the store text (unconfirmed). Checked October 2026.
Shipping: ~3–8 business days (WowRobo, UPS). WowRobo prepares orders in 1–3 business days and ships to the US by UPS express in 2–5 business days, with duties and taxes prepaid. Seeed Studio lists the kit in stock in its China warehouse only, with no US or EU warehouse stock (October 2026). WowRobo ↗
