Overview

An ambitious two-armed elder-care robot from a Bay Area startup, but still pre-launch with no price.

KOKO is a 1.22 m wheeled humanoid with two arms on a mecanum base, aimed at older adults who live alone and the families who check on them. It maps the home, remembers where things are and what happened, gives reminders and family check-ins, and warns relatives about missed routines or a stove left on. Homebot One says it can also do small physical jobs, such as closing a fridge door or watering plants, but teach-by-demonstration and remote manipulation are still in development. A physical memory key and a camera cover handle privacy. It first appeared as MyMemo ONE at CES 2026 and is on its third-generation prototype, with a Kickstarter pre-launch page but no price, launch date or delivery estimate, so it suits only people prepared to wait for a very early product.
