Overview

A 10 cm desk robot with a round screen face on a gimbal head that turns to track faces. It uses a ring microphone array and a cloud AI model for conversation, plus learning games, vocabulary drills, storytelling and a customizable personality, and the maker says voice and image data are stored locally by default. YanLink is a Paris company best known for NearLink IoT boards and gateways, and Kubee is its first consumer robot. The first Kickstarter launched in July 2026 with an €86,000 goal and was canceled with €1 pledged, and a relaunch with a $20,000 goal is in pre-launch as of October 2026. The campaign describes late-stage development with small-batch testing, so it suits buyers who want a small talking desk companion and accept an early product from a new brand.
