Overview

A walking robot cat that Elephant Robotics crowdfunded on Kickstarter in late 2019, showed at CES 2020 and put into mass production in 2022. Its 16 servos include two for the tail. It acts on its own, walking, stretching, kneading, playing with the included ball and teaser toy and returning to its charging station when the battery runs low, and its personality develops with how it is treated. Unlike aibo, it runs on a Raspberry Pi 3B, and owners get its Python API and source code. The manual limits it to flat floors such as wood or short carpet, and a charge lasts about 2 hours of active play or 3–4 hours of regular motion.
