Overview
A four-legged robot for inspection, surveillance and payload transport from NEURA Robotics, the German maker of the MAiRA and LARA arms and the 4NE1 humanoid. NEURA showed it at CES 2026 alongside its humanoids. The January 2026 datasheet lists a 620 mm height, 60 kg weight, 22 kg payload, 12 km/h top speed, 15 cm step height and 6 hours of battery life. NEURA promises autonomous mapping, localization, path planning and obstacle avoidance using 360° vision.
Software ties into NEURA's Neuraverse platform through NEURA Sync, with ROS 2, C++ and Python SDKs, teleoperation and digital-twin access planned. NEURA calls itself the first Western supplier to bring robots of this kind into series production. Its datasheet still describes the robot as in development, and the FAQ warns that hardware and styling may change before release. Compute, sensor models and joint count are unpublished, and the official images appear to be renders. At an estimated €50,000 (about $56,000), it would cost less than Spot. Reservations are open, with availability expected in 2026.
