Overview

A rideable four-legged mount from a Beijing startup founded in 2025, with a saddle and motorcycle-style handlebars. It debuted at WAIC in Shanghai in July 2026 and drew wide attention when visitors rode it at the World Robot Conference in Beijing that August. The maker quotes a 300 kg body, a 300 kg dynamic payload, about 10 km/h and about 40 km per charge. Its onboard DaxBrain-WM system plans each step, and it can walk sideways, reverse and turn in place. Demo rides on the show floor were slow and a little unsteady, and no independent tests or safety data have been published.

Kawasaki CORLEO covers similar ground as a hydrogen-powered concept aimed at consumer sales in 2035. The X1 is a working electric machine that can already be reserved, though only through a deposit-based presale on JD.com in China with no delivery date. A wheel-legged sibling, the Qiji XS, adds wheels on the feet for a claimed 40 km/h, but had not been shown running in public by late August 2026. The maker's own website lists its humanoids and the heavy-duty Qiji T1000 but not the X1, so the specs here come from Chinese press coverage of launch materials.
