Overview
A piloted mecha that Unitree calls the world's first production-ready manned mecha and a civilian vehicle. The pilot sits in a tubular cage in the torso. It walks upright on two legs and can lean forward onto its arms to move on all fours. With the pilot aboard it weighs about 500 kg. The launch video shows founder Wang Xingxing piloting it through a film-set street and knocking down a cinder-block wall. Unitree has shared few other specs, and experts have asked for figures on run time, joint cooling and efficiency.
Among rideable machines in the guide, Qiji X1 is a four-legged mount with handlebars at about $40,500 and about 300 kg. Kawasaki CORLEO is a hydrogen-powered concept aimed at consumer sales in 2035. Unitree said it received orders right after launch and that the design is still being refined. No delivery date, order page or product page on Unitree's site had appeared by October 2026, so it suits collectors, theme parks and showcases rather than practical transport.
