Weeks+Shipping: About 1–3 weeks from China (est.). Sold from the Waveshare web store, which ships internationally. The Amazon US listings for the Pi 3 B+, Pi 4 and Arduino kits all show as currently unavailable. Waveshare ↗
Remote control: With the Pi version, a laptop reaches the Pi over SSH or the browser control page on Wi-Fi. The Arduino version uses USB serial for uploading sketches and a Bluetooth serial link for live commands.

Overview

A small round-chassis robot from Waveshare that uses one base board with swappable adapters, so the same chassis works with a Raspberry Pi or an Arduino-compatible board. The Pi version adds a pan-tilt camera and browser control, while the Arduino version adds ultrasonic ranging, an OLED and Bluetooth, which suits a class that wants both paths. Its 5-channel line sensor makes it a good line-following platform. The design dates from around 2017, officially lists only the Pi 3B/3B+/4B, and some bundles are out of stock or discontinued.
