Overview

One of the first Chinese consumer robot dogs. Weilan (founded 2019) opened its C and E series to the public in March 2020, and a viral 4.15 m/s C200 demo and the fifth-generation C series followed in 2021, around the same time as Xiaomi CyberDog. It emphasized voice interaction and companion features over research openness. As of September 2026 Weilan's site still lists the Alpha Dog C Series in its purchase menu, alongside the smaller BabyAlpha line (including developer variants); international availability remains minimal.
