Overview
Unitree's follow-up to the Go2, unveiled on February 24, 2026 with roughly twice the joint power, a 648 Wh battery good for about four hours of walking and the ability to stand under a 65 kg load. Air and Pro are priced near the Go2 Pro and X, while the X and EDU tiers reach developer prices and add the lidar and SDK that research buyers expect, so the As2 straddles the home and developer tiers. The wheel-legged As2-W followed on July 26, 2026, with 25 kg, a 150 kg payload and 6 m/s. Like all Unitree dogs it is a platform more than a pet, since the follow system and app tricks are the extent of its out-of-the-box autonomy.
