Overview

Founded by Mobileye's Amnon Shashua with Shai Shalev-Shwartz and Lior Wolf, Mentee unveiled MenteeBot in April 2024 as a humanoid that takes spoken instructions, maps rooms and carries boxes up to ~25 kg. Mobileye agreed to acquire Mentee in January 2026 for about $900 million, and the company now operates as Mentee by Mobileye. First customer proof-of-concept deployments were planned for 2026, with series production targeted for 2028.
