Overview
Bot Fit is the consumer descendant of Samsung's GEMS Hip exoskeleton, first shown at CES 2019 as a mobility aid for older adults and reframed as a fitness wearable when it reappeared at CES 2024. It is meant for people aged 14 and over who can walk unaided, and Samsung excludes anyone who needs a mobility aid, so it sits with the walking and fitness units like the WIM S rather than the medical exoskeletons. Since late 2024 Samsung has sold it only to businesses in Korea, chiefly hotel gyms and pilates studios, and a user manual for a 'Bot Fit Pro' appeared on samsung.com in early September 2026 and was removed, which Korean press read as a sign of a coming consumer launch. No consumer price, release date or sales channel has been announced, and there is no public product page, so most specifications remain unpublished. The weight figure comes from a manual image reproduced by Exoskeleton Index and the price from 2024 press estimates, both (unconfirmed).
