Overview

Halo is Hypershell's first full-leg exoskeleton, announced at IFA Berlin on 2026-09-03 as the flagship above the hip-only X Series S. A carbon-fiber and titanium frame carries four motors so the knees get powered help on descents, stairs and squats, the main gap in hip exoskeletons, and the whole unit folds into an 8 L package. It fits wearers from 155 to 200 cm with a BMI of 15 to 35 and, like the rest of the line, requires unassisted walking and balance and is not a medical device. The closest rivals are the four-motor Vastnaut One and the Ascentiz hip-plus-knee bundle, while the Dnsys Z1 offers knee-only assist for far less. The catches are that it has not shipped yet, with deliveries promised from late November 2026, that the single 72 Wh battery is rated for only about 20 km in Eco mode across four motors, and that the price is more than double the Pro S. Pre-orders are open worldwide on the official store.
