Overview

Yahboom's long-running green aluminum desktop arm, first listed on its store in January 2021 and now sold mainly as a Raspberry Pi 5 version. Five 15 kg and one 6 kg serial bus servos drive the arm, and an eye-in-hand camera supports color tracking, face tracking, gesture control, garbage sorting and block stacking. The control board also fits Jetson Nano, Arduino and micro:bit, and the aluminum links can be lengthened or shortened. Assembled size is 260 × 135 × 473 mm, and power comes from a 12 V 5 A adapter. Yahboom's own benchmark shows the Pi 5 4 GB running its demos about as fast as a Jetson Nano, for example 15 fps face tracking versus 10 fps. The DOFBOT Ultra from July 2026 is a redesigned black arm for Pi 5 or RDK X5 with an optional DABAI DCW2 depth camera and 7-inch display. Yahboom also sells the Raspbot V2 and ROSMASTER robots.

The DOFBOT SE ($299 / $329) drops the onboard computer and is controlled from a PC virtual machine (Mac not supported). The DOFBOT Pro adds 3D depth vision for Jetson Nano and Orin boards, from $499 without a board to $1,999 with an Orin NX 16 GB.
