Overview

UFACTORY's crowdfunded desktop arm line (the original uArm was an early open-source desktop arm) matured into the Swift Pro, a metal-gearbox parallel-linkage arm built around an Arduino Mega and used for laser engraving, 3D printing and phone/touchscreen testing. The Swift and Swift Pro were crowdfunded on Indiegogo in early 2017, raising about $1 million from roughly 1,800 backers. UFACTORY has since shifted entirely to its xArm and Lite 6 cobots and no longer lists the uArm.
