Overview

VIATRIX is the first consumer product from ULS Robotics, a Shanghai company founded in 2018 that until 2025 sold industrial back, arm and leg exoskeletons such as the FIT-HV Pro. It is a rigid hip exoskeleton with a 'FLOAT360' floating hip joint that lets the wearer squat, lunge or do the splits without unstrapping, a two-second fold, dust and water resistance and a running mode up to 16 km/h. It went on sale in China in July 2025 and won a CES 2026 Innovation Award at its international debut in January 2026, and ULS units also serve in scenic-area rental fleets alongside the VIGX π and Hypershell. A VIATRIX X revision with a faster gait chip, Boost mode and semi-solid batteries is now listed too. The catch for buyers outside China is that there is no official overseas store, only Alibaba listings, so the 25-country expansion claimed in the press release remains (unconfirmed).
