Overview

The π is the export version of the hip exoskeleton that Shenzhen's Kenqing Technology (VIGX abroad, formerly branded Ant) supplies to rental fleets on Mount Tai and other Chinese scenic areas, where hikers rent units for a few hours at a time. It is a rigid carbon-fibre and magnesium belt with a motor over each hip and thigh cuffs, aimed at hiking, stairs and long walks, and the AI gait model adapts to the wearer over time. The π Plus adds a second battery, double the step count, 15 Nm and a 15 km/h running mode for an extra $300, while the Ant-H1 Pro repackages the same idea for older people who want everyday walking help. Catches are the unpublished battery capacity and torque for the base π, three fixed frame sizes, and a 7-day return window that only covers unactivated units. It is a direct rival of the Hypershell X series and the Dnsys X1, and both the π and π Plus ship worldwide from the maker's store today.
