Overview
NASA built Valkyrie for the 2013 DARPA Robotics Challenge Trials, then loaned units to MIT, Northeastern and the University of Edinburgh for research toward robots that could prepare Mars habitats. It is a direct ancestor of Apptronik's Apollo through their NASA partnership.
